Windows XP InformationE - 52 PC Camera ModuleEPC Camera Hot Key Buttons(Model A & B Computers)You can use the PC Camera hot key buttons (the quick button utility must not be in-stalled - see “Quick Button Utility” on page E - 39) to run the BisonCapprogram, to take still pictures and to zoom the camera in and out (if you have installedthe hot key and PC Camera drivers - see “Hot Key Utility (Model C Computers)” onpage E - 39 & “PC Camera Driver Installation” on page E - 47).1. Make sure the PC Camera is on (use the Fn + F10 key combination to power on thecamera).2. Press the application button once.3. The BisonCap application will run.4. Use the zoom keys to obtain the picture required.5. Press the application button for a second time (you will hear a camera motorsound to indicate the picture is being taken).6. The picture (in JPEG format) will be placed in the Snapshot folder on the desktop.Snapshot FolderThe Snapshot folder’sdefault location is on thedesktop. Do not movethis folder or an errormay appear when youtry to take a still pictureusing the application hotkey button.If you accidentally de-lete or move the folder,you can create a newSnapshot folder on thedesktop in order to cap-ture the files.Figure E - 29Snapshot Folder
