Application and DesignEN 4161.758.102q – 2017-09 93 Application and Design3.1 ApplicationThe DUOPLAN 2-speed gearbox by ZF is mainlyused in machine tool drives.As a result of the different installation positions,the gearbox can be used, for example, for turningmachines (horizontal B5) or machining centers(vertical V1).
