Mount the snare drum to theslide-at-tachment on the carrying holderslide base. Tighten the clamp screw tosecure the snare drum.Adjust the height and width of the carryingholder arms, and then tighten the screwsto secure.Insert the arms into the arm brackets onthe frame assembly. (Position theinstrument so that it is facing the holder(refer to diagram C).) Once the position isdetermined, tighten the screws on the armbrackets to secure the arms. When theinstrument is properly positioned thescrews lock into the notches.The snare drum can be flipped up as shownat left to transport it or when changingmarching formations. Be careful that thedrum head or hoop does not come intocontact with the holder. Tighten all screws securely once adjustments havebeen made. If any screw is loose there is a danger thatthe drum may slip during performances or extraneousnoises may be produced. To tighten the arm section screws, use the hexagonalwrench provided. Tighten the wing nuts with your hands. Be extra careful when removing the carrier with drum.Never drop or throw the instrument. Avoid using the instrument in the rain wheneverpossible. If the instrument does get wet, wipe it with asoft, dry cloth as soon as possible. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the instrument regularly.Never use thinners, benzene, or other similar solventsto clean the instrument. When tilting the multi toms, be careful that the drumheads or hoops do not hit the holder when doing so. Always take suitable breaks when playing theinstrument for a long period of time. When lifting the snare drum, always useyour hands to support and hold ontothe drum so that it does not fallforward, hitting the person infront of you and causinginjury. When returningthe drum to its normalplaying position, neverhold onto the drum atthe positions marked“A” or “B” in theillustration on the right.Hands or fingers canbecome pinched.ABSnare Drum Mounting* 9150S: 2 positions2500410 R3The angle of the snare drum head can be adjusted by using the angle adjustment nut.Before proceeding, place the instrument on a flat surface.Fold the carrying holder.Use the supplied wrench toloosen the angle adjustment nuts,located on the left and right sides.To determine the angle, tilt the carryingholder.Use the supplied wrench to tighten andsecure the angle adjustment nuts makingsure both sides are level.Snare Head Angle AdjustmentCAUTIONWhen tilting the drum up or returning itto its playing position, keep your handsaway from the areas marked A asshown in the diagram on the left.
