1.2 Mounting/Removing Option Modules on Machine Controller1512. Remove the Machine Controller and Expansion Racksa) For MP2300Turn OFF the power supply and disconnect all the cables from the MP2300. Then, remove the MP2300 from thepanel or rack, and place it where there is sufficient space, such as working table.b) For MP2200 and MP2100MTurn OFF the power supply and disconnect all the cables from the expansion rack (MP2200 base unit) where theOption Module to be replaced is mounted. Then, remove the expansion rack and place it on a place with suffi-cient space, such as working table.( 2 ) Removing Optional CoverUse the following procedure if the optional cover is installed on the slot.1. Remove the battery cover.Pull the notch on the side of the MP2000 series towards you to remove the battery cover.2. Remove the cover of Optional Module.Insert the protruding part of the battery cover into the slot on top of the cover of Optional Module to unhook, asshown in the diagram. Face the front of the battery cover towards you for this operation.Unhook the bottom in the same way.
