DP6i Operators Manual Page 19GPI InterfaceIn certain circumstances the connection of a computer to a DP6i is both impossibleand undesirable, perhaps for reasons of unnecessary complexity and cost. This is where the general-purpose interface option becomes useful. It permits therecalling of memories (input, crossover, or both) from a remote location, without theneed for expensive interface controllers. Memories may be recalled using a simplewired interface. The configuration and set-up of the interface is covered in Appendix 3 on page 36, asit is an option that is not fitted as standard.
