Its primary func-tion is to decode and encode video, audio and control data fortransmission over an IP network. Via theCompactFlash interface the device can be integrated seamlesslyinto any wireless LAN using a corresponding card. Because it usesexisting networks, rapid and simple integration into CCTV installa-tions via local networks can be achieved.Two units, i.e. a VideoJet 10 ISDN as transmitter and a VideoJet 10ISDN as receiver, can form a stand alone system for data transferwithout a PC. The system can be extended to include additionaltransmitters and receivers so that video images from one transmit-ter can be simultaneously received on a number of receivers.NoteMake sure the graphic card is set to a color depth of 16 or 32 Bitand the Microsoft Virtual Machine is installed when displaying videoon a computer monitor. |
