STICKY KEYSOrdinarily, to use a key character, you must hold down thekey while you press another key. If you have trouble pressingtwo keys at one time, the sticky keys feature lets you still use thekey by pressing one key at a time.To turn on sticky keys, pick up the handset or press thekey, and then press either key five times. You will see STICKYKEYS ON on the display. (During a TTY conversation, press thekey 5 times to turn on sticky keys.)Now you can type any uppercase letter or symbol as follows:• press the key and then press the key to type !• press the key and then press the key to type $• press the key and then press the key to type %Press either key five more times to turn off sticky keys. Thedisplay says STICKY KEYS OFF.When the sticky keys feature is on, you can lock down the keyso that it affects every key that you press. The key stays lockeddown until you unlock it again. To lock down the key, press ittwice. To unlock the key, press it once more.For example, to type all uppercase letters, press the key twiceto lock it down. Type your message.
