Handling the TIM-5H withoutproper ESD protection may destroy or damage them permanently.According to JEDEC ISP, the TIM-5H module is a moisture sensitive device. Appropriatehandling instructions and precautions are summarized in Sections 3.2.2 to 3.2.5. Read themcarefully to prevent permanent damages due to moisture intake.3.2.2 ShipmentTIM-5H modules are delivered on Tape-and-Reels in a hermetically sealed package ("dry bag") to preventmoisture intake and protect against electrostatic discharge. For protection from physical damage, the reels areindividually packed in cartons.The dry bag provides a JEDEC compliant MSD label (Moisture Sensitive Devices) describing the handlingrequirements to prevent humidity intake.
