16Care And PrecautionsLOCATIONPlace the dialer on a flat level surface or mount the unit on thewall, away from extreme cold or heat, direct sunlight, excessivehumidity and away from equipment that generate strongmagnetic fields. Avoid placing near large metal objects andareas that produce smoke, dust and mechanical vibrations.CAREClean the housing with a soft cloth lightly moistened withwater or mild detergent solution. Never use solvents such asalcohol or thinner. Do not allow liquids to spill into the unit.OPTIONAL BACKUPTo ensure continuous operation during power outages, hookupto a 12VDC backup battery pack is recommended.
