This unit requires connection to a grounded (three-prong), polarized receptacle that has been placed by aqualified electrician.The unit requires a grounded and polarized 115 VAC,60 Hz, 15A power supply (normal household current).An individual, properly grounded branch circuit or circuitbreaker is recommended. GFCI (ground fault circuitinterrupter) is usually not required for fixed locationappliances and is not recommended for your unit becausea GFCI could be prone to nuisance tripping. However, besure to consult your local codes.See Figure 31 for recommended receptacle location.WARNINGSHOCK HAZARD — Electrical Grounding Required.• Never remove the round grounding prong fromthe plug and never use a two-prong groundingadapter.• Never use an extension cord to connect power tothe unit.Go on to 7 Level the Unit.Leveling InformationNote: It is recommended that the unit is level.1. Use a level to checkthe levelness of therefrigerator fromfront to back andfrom side to side.Level should beplaced along topedge and side edgeas shown (see Figure32).2. If the refrigerator is not level, adjust the feet on thecorners of the unit as necessary (see Figure 33).3. Check the levelness after each adjustment and repeatthe previous steps until the unit is level. Go on to8 Install the Unit.Installation TipIf the room floor is higher than the floor in the cut-outopening, adjust the rear feet to achieve a total unit rearheight of 1/8" less than the opening’s rear height.
