CLR2160, CLRCO2175 9Temperature DisplayTo display the Model CLRCO2175 interior temperature:1. Touch and hold the WARMER icon (Figure 5, 2) forapproximately five seconds and release when the °Fsymbol in the display (Figure 5, 3) begins to flash.2. The display (Figure 5, 3) will indicate the actualrefrigerator temperature.3. After approximately 10 seconds, the set-pointtemperature will return to the display.Factors which affect the internal temperatures of thecabinet include:• Temperature setting.• Ambient temperature where installed.• Number of times and length of time the door isopened and closed.• Installation in direct sunlight or near a heat source.Adjusting TemperatureNOTE: The CLRCO2175 refrigerator section temperature isadjustable. The storage bin temperatures in ModelCLRCO2175 and CLR2160 are not adjustable.IMPORTANTIMPORTANTAdjust the set-point temperature in singleincrements, and wait 24 hours for the temperatureto stabilize before rechecking.Figure 6To adjust the set-point temperature:1. Press and release either the WARMER (Figure 6, 2) orCOOLER (Figure 6, 4) icon to put the controller in theSET TEMPERATURE mode. The °F symbol (Figure 6, 3)will begin to flash.NOTE: If no further action is taken, this mode will selfcancel in five seconds, and the original set-pointtemperature will be displayed.2. While the °F symbol is flashing, press the WARMER orCOOLER icon as required to adjust the set-pointtemperature.3. The change will be set five seconds after adjusting thetemperature, and the new set-point temperature willbe displayed.Normal Operating SoundsAll models incorporate rigid foam insulated cabinets toprovide high thermal efficiency and maximum soundreduction for its internal working components. In spite ofthis technology, your model may make sounds that areunfamiliar.Normal operating sounds may be more noticeablebecause of the unit’s environment. Hard surfaces such ascabinets, wood/vinyl/tiled floors and paneled walls have atendency to reflect normal appliance operating noises.Common refrigeration components, and a briefdescription of the normal operating sounds they make, are listed below. NOTE: Your product may not contain allof the components listed.• Compressor: The compressor makes a hum or pulsingsound that may be heard when it operates.• Evaporator: Refrigerant flowing through an evaporatormay sound like boiling liquid.• Condenser Fan: Air moving through a condenser may beheard.• Automatic Defrost/Drain Pan: Water may be hearddripping or running into the drain pan when the unit is inthe defrost cycle.• Automatic Ice Maker: You will hear ice as it drops fromthe mold into the ice bin/tray.• Water Valve: The water valve will make an occasionalbuzzing sound and running water will be heard.Outdoor UsageSome U-Line models are designed to operate in outdoorenvironments. For best performance, keep the unit out ofdirect sunlight.• If the unit will be shut off for five days or more, propdoor open to allow for air circulation and prevent moldand mildew.IMPORTANTIMPORTANTIf the ambient temperature is expected to dropbelow 45°F, turn off and unplug unit, and drain allwater from the unit to prevent freezing damage notcovered by the warranty.• High ambient temperatures (110°F or higher) mayreduce the unit’s ability to reach low temperatures.1 2 3 54ULIN_0058_A
