A grille, located inthe base of the unit, must not be blocked at anytime, or your unit will not perform as expected.Initial StartupAll U-Line units are shipped with controls that are preset.No initial adjustments are required.IMPORTANTIMPORTANTU-Line recommends the unit be allowed to runovernight prior to loading with product.Figure 3To turn the unit on or off, touch and hold the POWER icon(Figure 3, 1) on the display panel for approximately tenseconds until the °F symbol flashes and release.• A small LED above the icon will illuminate to confirmthe touch of any controller icon.• The display (Figure 3, 3) will show the unit set-pointtemperature (38°F) when the unit is on and will showOFF when the unit is off.• Turning the unit off will override any other controlfunction.Temperature ControlChecking Product TemperatureFigure 4To check the actual product temperature, in refrigeratorsection only, insert an accurate thermometer into a plastic(non-breakable) bottle that is partially filled with water.Tighten the bottle cap securely (Figure 4).Place the bottle in the refrigerator area for 24 hours.Refrain from opening the unit during the testing period.After 24 hours, check the temperature of the water.
