31Using the dynadock 4K Docking Station andAdjusting SettingsThe dynadock 4K docking station Max Output Resolutionand refresh rate are dependent on the number of displaysand the ports connected:* The DisplayPort™ or the HDMI™ port only outputs in 4K (3840 x 2160) to asingle external monitor. 4K resolution is not supported when dual externalmonitors are used.Please note the following:❖ Interlaced modes are not supported.❖ The display modes listed above may not be supportedby your display, or your display may offer additionalmodes not supported by the dynadock 4K dockingstation. For information on display modes supported byyour display, be sure to check the documentationsupplied with your display. Select a mode that both thedynadock 4K docking station and your display support.❖ Placing a display into an unsupported mode for longperiods can damage it.❖ If you are using Mirror mode to clone the primarydisplay’s image on an external display, the dynadock 4Kdocking station will attempt to use the same displaymode on the external display that you selected for theprimary display. In some cases, however, this may not bethe most appropriate mode for the mirrored desktop (forexample, if the aspect ratio of the displays is not thesame).
