4EnglishINSTALLING YOUR TVSafety PrecautionsThis equipment has been designed andmanufactured to meet international safety standardsbut, like any electrical equipment, care must be takento obtain the best results and for safety to be assured.Please read the points below for your own safety.They are of a general nature, intended to help with allelectronic consumer products, and some points maynot apply to the goods you have just purchased.Leave more than 10cm clearance around thetelevision to allow adequate ventilation. This willprevent overheating and possible damage to thetelevision. Dusty places should also be avoided. Forwall mounted positions at least 2.5cm gap wasretained from the wall and the 10cm was kept cleararound the perimeter of the TV.Damage may occur if the television is left in directsunlight or near a heater. Avoid places subject toextremely high temperatures or humidity. Place in alocation where the temperature remains between5°C min. and 35°C max.The mains supply required for this equipment is 220-240v AC 50/60Hz. Never connect to a DC supply or anyother power source. DO ensure that the television isnot standing on the mains lead.DO NOT cut off the mains plug from this equipment,this incorporates a special Radio Interference Filter,the removal of which will impair its performance.IF IN DOUBT, PLEASE CONSULT A COMPETENTELECTRICIAN.DO read the operating instructions before youattempt to use the equipment.DO ensure that all electrical connections (includingthe mains plug, extension leads and inter-connections between pieces of equipment) areproperly made and in accordance with themanufacturers’ instructions. Switch off and withdrawthe mains plug before making or changingconnections.DO consult your dealer if you are ever in doubt aboutthe installation, operation or safety of yourequipment.WARNING: To prevent injury, this apparatus must besecurely attached to the floor/wall in accordance withthe installation instructions.
