40USING THE ANSWERING MACHINELEAVING A MEMO MESSAGEYou can use the base unit to record a memo (up to 10 minutes), as areminder to yourself or as a message for someone else in thehousehold. A memo is stored and played back like any other incomingmessage, and the LED display will blink to indicate that a messagehas been received.1 Press and hold till a beep sounds.You hear “Record your message after the tone” and a long beep.2 Begin speaking close to the microphone.3 When you finish recording, press or .RECORDING A PHONE CONVERSATION (2 WAY REC)You can record a telephone conversation that is already in progresswith the handset (up to 10 minutes).
