32USING THE MENU MODEMenu mode allows you to set the following Answering Systemfunctions. Following MENU MODE instructions assume that everysetting starts from standby mode.NOTES:• If you make no entries within 20 seconds, or 20 seconds pass after a voiceprompt/guidance or greeting, you will hear a long beep and the answeringmachine returns to standby. Note that time-out for clock setting is 2 minutes.• Receiving a call or pressing talk will cancel the setting.
