39ADVANCED PROGRAM GUIDESurf GuideTheSurf Guide displays one hour ofprogramming information along the right side ofyour screen. When first displayed, theSurfGuide includes theShort Information banner;however, you can use INFO to cycle throughthe different banners or turn it off.This guide is useful because you can “surf” theguide while still viewing most of the TV programin the background.Banner GuideTheBanner Guide displays two hours ofprogramming information along the bottom ofyour screen.This guide is useful because you can view theguide while still viewing most of the TVprogram.Pressing the up and down arrows on theremote control while watching television willdisplay theBanner Guide, if no other pop-upsare opened.Keys available in the different ADVANCED PROGRAM GUIDE™ styles:• GUIDE: Cycles through the different guide styles.• ACTION + INFO: Cycles through the different banner styles (off, short, detailed).• , , , and : Navigate inside the guide.• ACTION + or : Scrolls through the guide entries one page at a time.• CHANNEL or : Scrolls through the guide entries one page at a time.• INFO while highlighting any program: Displays theProgram Details screen.• ACTION + JUMP (HOME): Scrolls to current time slot.• SELECT: Tunes to the highlighted channel.Note:If a program is selected in any guide, it must be currently playing in order to tune to that channel.
