16 ENPicture RecordingIn Picture Record Mode (The• Picture Record LED Indicator lights up), press Record Button totake pictures.Press Playback Button to view the picture.•Three resolution settings are available:•Image QualityHigh Quality: 16 Mega PixelsStandard Quality: 5 Mega PixelsLow Quality: 3 Mega PixelsTaking Close up Pictures/MoviesSlide the macro switch to change the focus range for different distances of objects.•To take close-up pictures:•Slide the macro switch to Macro (1. ).Press Record Button to start recording or to take picture.2.In Macro Mode, the macro icon (• ) will appear on the LCD monitor.NoteRemember to turn the macro switch back to Normal ( ) when you are not taking close-uppictures.Using Digital Light or Light FunctionTo use light function:•Press Right Button, the Digital Light icon (1. ) will appear on the screen to extend dynamicrange for backlight and high contrast sense so that the objects will be brighter and clearer.Press again, the Light icon (2. ) will appear on the screen.
