Adjusting the color convergenceThis projection TV uses three separate TV tubes: red, green, and blue.The red, green, and blue images are projected onto the screen wherethey converge to form a full-color picture. You can see a dear pictureonly when the three images converge correctly. Convergence can driftover time or if you move the TV. If you can see clear images on yourTV screen, skip this procedure.Make this adjustment only after the TV has been on for at least 30minutes.To check and adjust the color convergence:1. Press MENU, and then press • or • until the PICTURE menuappears.2. Press • or • to display the center convergence menu.tm BLUEENTER:TO SELECT COLOREXiT :TO SELECT POSITIONIf you see separate color lines (red, blue, and green or white), youneed to adjust the convergence.4. Press ENTER to highlight RED or BLUE.5. Press • (up), • (down), • (left), or • (right) to converge the redor blue line into the green (or white) line. When the convergenceis adjusted correctly, you will see two single, crossed white lines.6. Press EXIT to display the circumference convergence menu.7. Press the corresponding Number button (1-4 and 6-9) to selectthe area of the screen you want to adjust.8. Press ENTER to highlight RED or BLUE.4-+RED r_ENTER:TO SELECT COLOREXiT :TO SELECT POSITION9. Press ••• • to converge the red or blue line into the green (orwhite) line.Repeat steps 8 and 9 until you see two single, crossed white lines.10. Press EXIT once to select another area to adjust in thecircumference convergence menu, and then repeat steps 7-9.11. Press EXIT twice to close the convergence menus.
