PRINTER OPERATION EO1-330293.4 Using the B-852 Printer Properties Menus3-153.4.3 Details Tab (Cont.)3.4.4 Regional Settings TabChanging Port Settings - When clicking on the Port Settings button, thescreen that will appear will depend on whether a parallel port (LPT) or aserial port (COM) is currently highlighted in the Print to the followingport: scrolling text box. For example, if one of the COM ports is highlightedin the Print to the following port: scrolling text box, then the followingscreen will appear to allow changing the settings for that port.This properties management screen will allow changing the language andunits of measurement to agree with the region in which these printers arebeing used. After clicking on the Regional Settings tab the followingdisplay will appear.NOTE:If using the serial interface(COM port) for connection tothe B-852 printer, make surethat the settings here agree withthe settings set in the printerparameter settings.NOTE:By default, the driver will usethe Regional Settings asspecified in the WindowsControl Panel for settings likelanguage, measurement system,and decimal point or comma.
