Pump grease into each fitting as follows:• For the pillow-block bearings, pump 1 shot ofgrease into each fitting (Figure 31).• For the trunnions, pump several shots ofgrease into each fitting until it starts to oozeout of the bearing housing (Figure 31).Important: Pump grease in slowly andcarefully to prevent damage to the bearingseals.3. Wipe up any excess grease.Lubricating the MotorBearingsService Interval: Every 6,000 hoursGrease type: electric-motor bearing grease1. Clean around each grease fitting with a rag.2.
