Install the transport wheels; refer to Installingthe Transport Wheels (page 20).2. Ensure that the traction and reel-drive controlsare in the NEUTRAL position.3. Start the machine; refer to Starting the Machine(page 15).4. Set the speed control to SLOW, tip the front ofthe machine up, gradually engage the tractiondrive, and slowly increase the machine speed.5. Adjust the speed control to operate the mowerat the desired ground speed and transport themachine to the desired destination.Transporting the Machine Using aTrailerUse a trailer to transport the machine a considerabledistance. Use caution while loading and unloading themachine onto the trailer.1. Carefully drive the machine onto the trailer.2. Shut off the machine and engage the parkingbrake.3. Use a full-width ramp for loading the machineinto a trailer or truck.4. Securely fasten the machine to the trailer.Note: You can use the Toro Trans Pro trailer totransport the machine. For instructions on loading thetrailer, refer to your trailer Operator’s Manual.Removing the TransportWheels1. Release the clutch bail, use the speed controlto lower the machine speed, and shut off themachine.2. Move the kickstand to theTRANSPORT-WHEEL-SERVICE position; refer toKickstand (page 10).3.
