46 Adjustment MenuChapter 3 MenuColor Temp Adj Adjusts the color temperature.When the item is selected, the color temperature data to be adjusted is displayed.When D93 or D65 data is changed, they are displayed as D93* or D65*.To change the color temperature data to be adjusted, select D93, D65, User1, User2, User3,User4 or User5 in the Color Temp menu of the Input Configuration menu.For information about the Input Configuration menu, see page 50.Manual Adjusts the color temperature manually.When the item is selected, the color temperature data to be set is displayed.When D93 or D65 data is changed, they are displayed as D93* or D65*.For information about the Input Configuration menu, see page 50.Manual Adjust Adjusts the color temperature with the adjustment knob.NoteThis menu is not selectable when the contrast is set to less than 400.When the item is selected, the color temperature adjustment display appears and the x and yvalues of the color temperature data to be adjusted are displayed.NoteThe displayed chromaticity coordinates x and y are reference values and are not guaranteedas absolute values.When Contrast Hold is set to On, the adjustable item and the relevant knobs are as follows.To adjust Red (red): BRIGHT knobTo adjust Green (green): CHROMA knobTo adjust Blue (blue): PHASE knobWhen Contrast Hold is set to Off, the adjustable item and the relevant knobs are as follows.To adjust Red (red): BRIGHT knobTo adjust Green (green): CHROMA knobTo adjust Blue (blue): PHASE knobTo adjust Contrast (contrast): CONTRAST knobTo hide the characters on the monitor during manual adjustmentSet the CHAR OFF button of the controller to on. As the characters on the display arehidden, it becomes easy to adjust the picture. To display the characters, set the CHAR OFFbutton to off.To reset Red, Green and Blue to the value before adjustmentPress the MANUAL button of BRIGHT, CHROMA or PHASE. The Red, Green and Blue arereset to the value before adjustment.To reset Contrast to the value before adjustmentPress the MANUAL button of CONTRAST.NoteYou cannot reset the setting after you press the ENTER (Ent) button.To cancel adjustmentPress the MENU button. The adjustment data is cleared and the setting returns to theprevious value.To confirm adjustmentPress the ENTER (Ent) button.Original Value Sets the initial value.You can select from D93, D65, User1, User2, User3, User4 or User5.When D93 or D65 data is changed, they are displayed as D93* or D65*.Signal Sets the white signal to be used for adjustment.Internal: Select when an internal signal is used. The signal is automatically switched tothe 100% white signal.[External]: Select when an external input signal is used. Supply the 100% white signal.NoteWhen the signal format set in the Format menu of the Input Configuration menu is DVIComputer or the computer signal of HDMI, this menu is not selectable.
