Storing/Retrieving the Setting Data 53Shooting/RecordingYou can store all the menu settings (includingpicture profiles) as a setup file on an SxS memorycard.By retrieving the stored setup file, the propersetup condition can be immediately obtained.For the setup file operations, use “Camera Data”of the OTHERS menu.NoteThe Clock Set, Time Zone, Color BarType valuesare excluded.Only one setup file can be stored on one SxSmemory card.1 Insert a memory card on which youwish to store the setup file to a card slot.Check that the media indication (see page32) corresponding to the slot is displayed onthe screen. If a memory card in the other slotis selected, press the SLOT SEL button toswitch.2 Select “Camera Data” from theOTHERS menu.3 Select “Store.”“Cancel” and “Execute” appear to the right.4 Select “Execute.”Writing of data to the memory card begins.An in-progress message is displayed duringwriting. When writing is completed, a completionmessage is displayed.Notes• If a setup file already exists on the memory cardyou specified in Step 1, a message to confirmwhether to overwrite the file is displayed.• If there is not sufficient space on the memorycard, an error message is displayed.When you retrieve the stored setup file, thesettings on this unit are changed according to thefile.1 Insert the memory card on which youstored the setup file into a card slot.Check that the corresponding memory cardicon is displayed in the monitor screen.
