Basic Operation Procedure 35Shooting/RecordingThe basic shooting/recording procedure is as follows.Preparations1 Connect the CCU and camera head (seepage 21), and connect the CCU to avideo monitor (see page 56).2 Connect the CCU to an AC powersource, and press the { side of the MAINPOWER switch (see page 22).3 Insert an SxS memory card (see page27).If you insert a second card, the unit willswitch to the second card automatically whenthe first card becomes full.Shooting (ATW mode, AE function)1 Press the On/Standby button to light it.The unit starts, and the camera output pictureappear in the monitor screen.The initial settings screen appears when the unitstarts for the first time. You will need to set thedate and time before the camera output pictureappears.
