6-47HVR-1500Replacement1. Removing the DR-428BG board(Refer to Section 6-26-5.)2. Replacing the capstan motor(1) While supporting the capstan motor by handfrom the back side of the MD chassis, removethe two precision screws in the upper side ofthe chassis to remove the capstan motor.(2) Wipe the mounting surfaces of a new capstanmotor and the MD chassis with a cleaningcloth moistened with cleaning fluid.(3) Insert the new capstan motor into the hole inthe MD chassis positioning as shown in thefigure and fix it with the two precisionscrews.Tightening torque : 0.1 N.m {1 kgf.cm}nUse care not to scratch the capstan motorpivot when inserting the capstan motor.(4) Reconnect the flexible card wire of thecapstan motor on the back side of the unit tothe connector (CN18) on the DR-428BGboard.3. Reattaching the DR-428BG board(Refer to Section 6-26-5.)4. Cleaning the Capstan shaftWipe the capstan shaft with a cleaning clothmoistened with cleaning fluid.Adjustment after Replacement5.
