This operation takes a fewseconds.3-3-3 Preventing AccidentalErasureTo prevent accidental erasure of material recorded on atape, push in the record-protect plug.Preventing accidental erasureWhen a cassette with this plug pushed in is insertedinto the VTR, the REC INHIBIT indicator on thelower control panel lights up and recording will notstart, even if you press the REC button.To restore the tape for recording, return the plug to itsoriginal position.L-size cassetteS-size cassettePush in the record-protect plug.
