If everything is in order, checkthe fuse.o If the unit is turned off and the display disappears, itcannot be operated with the remote commander.- Turn on the unit.The power antenna (aerial) does not extend.The power antenna (aerial) does not have a relay box.No sound.o The volume is too low.o The ATT function is activated, or the Telephone ATTfunction (when the interface cable of a telephone isconnected to the ATT lead) is activated.o The position of the fader control "FAD" is not set fora 2-speaker system.o The CD changer is incompatible with the disc format(MP3IWMAIAAC).- Play back with a Sony MP3 compatible CDchanger, or this unit.No beep sound.o The beep sound is canceled (page 16).• An optional power amplifier is connected and you arenot using the built-in amplifier.The contents of the memory have been erased.o The RESET button has been pressed.- Store again into the memory.o The power supply lead or battery has beendisconnected.o The power supply lead is not connected properly.Stored stations and correct time are erased.The fuse has blown.Makes noise when the position of the ignitionis switched.The leads are not matched correctly with the boat'saccessory power connector.During playback or reception, demonstrationmode starts.If no operation is performed for 5 minutes with"DEMO-ON" set, demonstration mode starts.-Set "DEMO-OFF' (page 16).The display disappears from/does not appearin the display window.o The dimmer is set "DIMMER-ON" (page 16).o The display disappears if you press and hold (OFF).- Press and hold (OFF) on the unit until thedisplay appears.o The connectors are dirty (page 21).The Auto Off function does not operate.The unit is turned on. The Auto Off function activatesafter turning off the unit.
