If you insert a disc w it hin t hese 10 seconds, t he unit w ill not be reset , and you w ill have t o presst he reset but t on again.Reset buttonPrecaut ions• This unit cannot be used with a car audiowithout an FM tuner.• If your car was parked in direct sunlightresulting in a considerable rise in temperatureinside the car, allow the unit to cool off beforeoperating it.• If no power is being supplied to the unit,check the connections first. If everything is inorder, check the fuse.•Connecting this unit may cause some carbattery wear when your car has no ACC(accessory) position on the ignition key switch.If you have any questions or problemsconcerning your unit that are not covered in thismanual, please consult your nearest Sony dealer.Not es on handling CDsA dirty or defective disc may cause sounddropouts while playing. To enjoy optimumsound, handle the disc by its edge. To keep thedisc clean, do not touch the surface.Do not stick paper or tape on the labeledsurface.Do not expose the discs to direct sunlight or heatsources such as hot air-ducts, or leave them in acar parked in direct sunlight where there can bea considerable rise in temperature inside the car.Before playing, clean the discs with acommercially available cleaning cloth.
