Location and Function of Parts and Controls 13the indicator of the MANUAL button below the knobis lit.CONTRAST knob: Adjusts the picture contrast. Turnthe knob to the right to increase the contrast and turnto the left to decrease it. This adjustment is availablewhile the adjustment menu is displayed or theindicator of the MANUAL button below the knob is lit.MANUAL button: Press to perform the adjustmentmanually with the knob. Each time the button ispressed, the button indicator lights up or goes out.Each adjustment is available with the knobs aboveeach indicator while it is lit. Menu operation buttonsDisplays or sets the on-screen menu.Menu selection controlWhen the menu is displayed, turn the control to selecta menu item or setting value, and then press thecontrol to confirm the setting.If the menu is not displayed and the menu selectioncontrol is pressed, the characters that represent thenames of the buttons light up. Also, the names of thefunctions assigned to the function buttons appear onthe screen. Press again to clear it.Alternatively, if the menu is not displayed and themenu selection control is pressed for more than twoseconds, the signal format is displayed on the screen.BACK buttonWhen the menu is displayed, press the button to resetthe value of an item to the previous value (except someitems).MENU buttonPress to display the on-screen menu.Press again to clear the menu.  (Power) switch and indicatorWhen the unit is turned off, press the switch to turn iton.
