Installation of Standard BoardsEach plug-in board must be installed in the correspondingslot of DME-3000/7000.The board name and the slot number in which the boardcan be installed are displayed near the board lever on theleft edge of the board (A side).Confirm that each board is properly installed in thespecified slot.Each optional board should also be installed in the speci-fied range and procedure according to the slot numberdisplay near the board lever on the left edge.For the removal/installation procedures of the plug-inboards, refer to the section 2-6.n• Before inserting or removing a board, always turn thepower off.• After inserting a board, and before turning on the power,make sure that the number on the board matches thenumber on the slot.• Be sure to confirm the secondary power supply voltagewhen a optional board is added or the board is replaced.(Refer to the section 1-11.)CPU-1141Slot No.(A side)Board leverExampleCan be inserted into only slot No.1.Board name1-9.
