3-10 (E) BDX-D1000When it is judged that the fan stops orabnormality is generated in the power unit:1. Check the rotation of fan motor.When the fan motor stops, it is judged that abnormalityis generated in the fan motor.→ Replace the fan motor. (Refer to the Section 1-5-2in the maintenance manual.)When the fan motor rotates properly, it is judged thatabnormality is generated in the power unit.→ Replace the switching regulator. (Refer to theSection 1-5-1 in the maintenance manual.)2. Turn the power off and on again, check the indicatoron the front panel.When the indicator is flashing or lit in red, it is judgedthat abnormality is generated in the DEC-99 board orthe MB-762 board.→ Replace the DEC-99 board or MB-762 board.(Refer to the Section 1-6-1 or 1-6-3 in maintenancemanual.)3. Put S200-6 on the DEC-99 board to original position.3-4. Indicator on the Front PanelnThis section applies to the unit which the DEC-99 boardwith suffix -13 and higher is installed.If the indicator on the front panel is flashing or lit in red, itis judged that any one of the following three items arecauses.. An overcurrent flowed to the LNB (Low Noise Block). The fan motor stopped.. Abnormality detected in the power unitFollow the steps below.1. Put S200-6 (A-5) on the DEC-99 board to OFF.nS200-6: LNB Power Select switchON: Power is provided from the IF terminal.OFF: Power is not provided from the IF terminal.2. Turn the power off and on again, check the indicatoron the front panel.When the indicator is lit in green, it is judged that anovercurrent is flowing to the LNB.When the indicator is flashing or lit in red, it is judgedthat the fan stops or abnormality is generated in thepower unit.When it is judged that an overcurrent is flowing tothe LNB:1. Check that there is no leakage of current at the cablewhich is connected to IF connector on the rear panel.2. Turn the power off and on again, check the indicatoron the front panel.When the indicator is flashing or lit in red, it is judgedthat abnormality is generated in the DEC-99 board orthe MB-762 board.→ Replace the DEC-99 board or MB-762 board.(Refer to the Section 1-6-1 or 1-6-3 in maintenancemanual.)3.
