54Notes• To record a satellite programme, turn on the satellitetuner and select the satellite programme you want torecord. Leave the satellite tuner turned on until therecorder finishes recording. If you connect equipmentwith a timer function, you can use the Synchro Recfunction (page 55).• Even when correctly set, the programme may not berecorded if another recording is underway, or otherprioritized timer setting overlaps.• Before the timer recording starts, “TIMER REC”flashes in the front panel display.• The recorder automatically turns off when a timerrecording finishes.• The recorder does not record programmes with Copy-Never signals. Such recordings stop after a fewseconds.• The beginning of some recordings may not be madewhen using the PDC/VPS function.Recording TV programmes using theVIDEO Plus+ systemThe VIDEO Plus+ system is a feature thatsimplifies setting the timer. Just enter thePlusCode number listed in the TV programmeguide.
