Check the device annually for electrical safety and functionality as well as leakage (neededfor introduction of hazardous gases) of the sample gas path within the device.Check the device following each intervention in the gas path (containment system) forleaks (needed for introduction of hazardous gases). They can also help with quick repair processing, a repair cost estimate, or a repair report/cause of failure report.NOTICEDecontaminationThe product may have to be decontaminated before it is returned. Your Siemens contactperson will let you know for which products this is required.NoteReturn of products with lithium batteriesLithium batteries are dangerous goods according to the Regulation of Dangerous Goods, UN3090 and UN 3091.• Remove lithium batteries prior to shipment.• If the battery cannot be removed, return the product according to the Regulation ofDangerous Goods with special transport documentation.6.6 DisposalDevices described in this manual should be recycled. They may not be dis‐posed of in the municipal waste disposal services according to the Directive2012/19/EC on waste electronic and electrical equipment (WEEE).Devices can be returned to the supplier within the EC and UK, or to a locallyapproved disposal service for eco-friendly recycling.
