WARNINGEx zone entrainmentDanger of explosion in hazardous areasIt is in the responsibility of the customer to implement a safety concept that ensures that Exzone entrainment cannot occur when using purging.• A possible solution may be the use of non-return valves in the purging gas flow to ensurethat no gas can leave the process through the purging gas connection.WARNINGConnecting or disconnecting device in energized stateRisk of explosion in hazardous areas.• Connect or disconnect devices in hazardous areas only in a de-energized state.• Install a suitable switch-off device.Exceptions:• Devices having exclusively the type of protection "Intrinsic safety Ex i" may also beconnected in energized state in hazardous areas.NoteAfter switching the device off, wait at least 10 minutes.WARNINGImproper power supplyRisk of explosion in hazardous areas as result of incorrect power supply.• Connect the device in accordance with the specified power supply and signal circuits.
