Make sure that a low-impedance contact of the CCU box with the cabinetwall can be made near the screws. Insulating varnishes should be removed ifpossible. Keep the connection free of corrosion. The electronic earths of the modules are interconnected via the device anddrive bus and at the same time conducted to the X151 terminal of the MSmodule.References: /EMV/, EMC Installation GuidelinePA PAPowerelectronicsMachine bedEarth barEarth terminalPA MGPATriggeringelectronicsCCUSL in the motor cableMachinecontrolpanelPLC I/OsPAMBPANCU terminalblockPADistributorboxCross sections (mm2)²10Mains connection S SL min.S ±1616 < S ± 35S > 35S16S/ 2Large--area conductive connectionwith earthed housingEquipotential bonding conductor (± 30cm)to earthed housing, A=10mm2PCUOperatorpanel frontMB: Shielded signal cablewith reference earthM: MotorG: EncoderPA: Equipotentialbonding conductorSL: Protective conductorS: Mains connection SFig. 2-2 Earthing concept2 Installation Conditions11.02
