The buckets rotate tothe Hatch for loading and unloading cassettes.Figure 5: Hettich Bucket Positions (Top View)The system performs the following process cycle:• The system loads samples that require centrifugation into thecassettes.• The robot uses the scale, Figure 8, Weigh Pan and Scale , to weigh thecassettes.• The robot removes the cassettes from the scale and loads the cassettesinto the Hettich unit.• The Hettich unit centrifuges the samples.• At the end of the Centrifuge cycle, the robot unloads spun cassettesand loads unspun cassettes.• The robot moves the sample tubes from the cassettes back onto thetrack.For more information, refer to the Hettich unit documentation.
