4-34External DisplayYou can use an external monitor with your computer. To display images on bothdisplays simultaneously, use the 1024x768 resolution.• Some monitors, which are not compatible with your computer, may notdisplay correctly.• In this section, you often see the expression “Display Properties dialogbox.” To open the dialog box, right-click somewhere on the Windowsdesktop and select Properties from the pop-up menu.• To display the image on an external monitor, you may need to installits driver. Before using the external monitor, refer to the manualincluded with it.Connecting External Monitor1. Turn off your computer and the external monitor.2. Connect the external monitor to your computer. If the monitor cable has screws,be sure to tighten them.3. Turn on the external monitor; then, your computer.Switching Display1. In the Display Properties dialog box, select Settings tab; then, click Advancedbutton.2. Select GeForce4 440 Go 64M tab. A sub-panel will appear on the left.3.
