Seethe provided supplement for the default or maximum memory size of your computer.For available memory modules, contact your local dealer.Inserting Memory Module• Do not handle the memory module where static electricity is easilygenerated such as on the carpet.• Before changing the memory module, carefully discharge staticelectricity from your body by touching an unpainted metal area.• Avoid touching the integrated circuits on a memory module. Handle allcomponents by the edges.• Keep the memory module in the anti-static wrapping until you areready to install it.1. Turn off your computer, and disconnect the AC adapter and peripheral devices.2. Turn your computer over and remove the battery pack. See Chapter 3 forremoving the battery pack.• Make sure to turn off your computer, remove the AC adapter, and pullout the battery pack. Otherwise you may receive an electrical shock.• After a long usage of your computer, the temperature inside yourcomputer may be hot. Turn off your computer, then, wait until itbecomes cool before changing the memory module.
