IMPORTAHT IHSTBUCTIOH$DRAIN WATER FUNCTIONPerform the Drain Water function at least once a day afterusing SuperSteam Convection or Steam mode. It takesup to 8 minutes.Drain Water function is very useful to prevent scale buildup and the use of stale water. It causes evaporation ofthe internal steam system.1 Press Bacldlnfo,turn the Dial toselect DRAINWATER and pressEnter.2 Make sure the reservoir isremoved and press START.;3 After the oven has cooled, wipe oven cavity.Wait a few minutes, then empty the drip trayNOTE:The reservoir must be removed before starting thisprocedure.DESCALE FUNCTIONWhite or gray grains, also called scale, may form inthe water circuit inside the oven during steamgeneration, which could cause the oven to malfunction.When DESCALING IS NECESSARY. is shown in thedisplay, be sure to carry out Descale functionimmediately. It takes about 1 hour.turn the Dial toselect DE2 Puie citric acid, available at some drugstores,or bottled !emon juice with no pu!p are used fordescaling. Choose one and prepare thedesca ing solution.TO uSe pure Citric aci d,dissolve 1 tab!espoonof pure citric acid Crystals in 2 1/4 cups of waterin a non-Porous Container, Stir well and pourinto the reservoir.uSe 100% bottled lemon iuice, check thatthere is absoiute!y no pulp in iL !f there is PU!Por you are not sure, strain through a fine1Strainer. Measure /3 cup of the strained lemon1juice and add itto 2 /4 Cups of water. Stir welland pour into the reservoir.PlaCe the reservoir in the oven CorreCtly andpush firmly into place.3 PlaCe baking tray 0n upper levellPlace desca!!ng guide on the right side edge ofbaking tray as Shown in Figure 1:Push down the right side edge of descalingguide to insert the projection between the walland the baking tray as shown in Figure 2.Check that the edge of the desca!!ng guide isbelow all steam outlets/screw heads as shownin Figure4_ Do not place any food in the oven,PreSS START to begin descaling5 when the Oven has stopped and is Cool,remove reservoir, empty, rinse and refill withco!d tap water. Replace reservoir. Remove thedesca!!ng guide as shown in Figure 4,Remove baking tray, empty, rinseand dry. FO!Iow step 3 to replace J STARTbaking tray an d desca!ing guide.Press START: Rinsing will start:when rinsing has ended and the oven is cool,remove reservoir and empty. Then removedesca!ing guide as shown in Figure 4. Removebaking tray and empty, Wipe oven cavity to dry.Wait a few minutes and then empty the drip tray:WARNING:The area around the steam outlets becomes hot.
