KEY OPERATOR PROGRAMS8-8Call timer at memory sendingWhen sending a fax by automatic transmission(See "Storing transmission jobs (memorytransmission)" on page 2-8.), this setting lets youselect the amount of time that the machine waitsbefore breaking the connection when the othermachine does not respond to your machine'scalling tone. If the other machine does not respondwithin this set time, your machine will automaticallybreak the connection. Time selections are 30seconds, 45 seconds, and 60 seconds. This settingis normally set to 45 seconds.Date/own number print position settingThis setting lets you select the position (inside oroutside the original image) of the sender's nameand number that are printed at the top of each faxpage you send. Normally OUTSIDE THEORIGINAL IMAGE is selected. To have your nameand number printed inside the original image, selectINSIDE THE ORIGINAL IMAGE. For more detailedinformation on the position of each setting, refer to"Position of sender's information" on page 3-11.Quick on line sendingWhen this setting is turned on, the machine will callthe other machine and start transmitting thedocument as soon as the first page is scanned.Transmission therefore takes place at the sametime as any further pages are being scanned.Normally this setting is turned on.If you turn the setting off, transmission will notbegin until all pages of the document have beenscanned. Note that this setting does not apply tomanual transmission.
