MAINS PLUG WIRING INSTRUCTIONSThis equipment is fitted with a moulded type mains plug which incorporates a detachablefuse cover, under no circumstances should the plug be used without the fuse cover fitted.In the unlikely event of the socket outlet in your home not being compatible with the plugsupplied, cut off the mains plug and fit an appropriate type observing the wiring codebelow.DANGER: The fuse from the cut-off plug should be removed and the plug should bedisposed of in a safe manner. Under no circumstances should the cut-off plug beinserted into a socket outlet as a serious electric shock may occur.If you are not sure how to do this, get help from a qualified electrician.IMPORTANTThe wires in this mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code:GREEN-AND-YELLOW: EarthBLUE: NeutralBROWN: LiveAs the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this apparatus may not correspond withthe coloured markings identifying the terminals in your plug, proceed as follows:The wirewhich is coloured GREEN-AND-YELLOW must be connected to the terminal in the plugwhich is marked by the letter E, or by the safety earth symbol or coloured green orgreen-and-yellow.The wire which is coloured BLUE must be connected to the terminalwhich is marked with the letter N or coloured black.The wire which is coloured BROWNmust be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter L or coloured red.This apparatus must be protected by a 13A fuse in the mains plug or distribution board."WARNING: THIS APPARATUS MUST BE EARTHED"(U.K. Only)
