14INSTALLING THE PRINT HEADS AND INK TANKS9 Lower the print head latch.Lower the latch until it clicks into the latched position.10 Unpack the ink tanks from their protective wrapping and slowlyremove the tape.11 Turn the ink tanks upside down, and then immediately inserteach of them to the print head of corresponding number.! Hold the ink tank upright when removing the tape. Do not touch the uncoveredopening on the ink tank, as ink will get on your hands.! Ensure that there are no pieces of tape remaining on the ink tank.Ensure the number on each print head corresponds to the number on each inktank.Make sure that each tabsecurely locks the ink tankby pressing here.Properly align the tabwhen inserting the ink taMatch the ink tank numberto the print head number.Do not touch this area.The unit may not copyif it is dirty.
