CHARGING THE WORK LIGHT2 IMPORTANT WARRANTY INFORMATION:The battery fitted to this lantern is considered tobe a consumable item and its ability to accept chargewill reduce over time. We will warranty it againstmechanical and electrical defect for a period of oneyear - this does not cover fair wear and tear.If the battery is not properly charged before first use,or regularly conditioned, its capacity will diminish.Under these circumstances we will not replace thebattery even if it is less than one year old. I I3.1.1 Winding Handle. Before charging, switch the unitOFF. To get approximately 60 minutes of usage fromthe 1 LED setting you need to wind the handle at asteady pace in either direction for 60 seconds. Ifmore LEDs are used the usage time will be reducedas shown above under specification. After windingfold the handle back down into its stowage position.3.1.2 Mobile Phone Charging. The lantern is suppliedwith a Nokia phone charging lead. When this isconnected between a suitable phone and the socketon the lantern seen in Fig.1, the cranking charge isdiverted from the light to the phone in order to revivea depleted battery sufficiently to make a phone call.To charge the phone you must operate the windinghandle for a minimum of 1 minute.
