43Settings of Recording VideosPress Function button to enable video setting menu before recording a video.Movie SizeThe Movie Size function appears only in Movie mode. Use thisfunction to adjust the resolution and quality of movie clips.The table below shows the available size and corresponding image quality settings.Icon Item Description1280 X 720HDTV (Support SDHC_Class(4) or above)The length of a single video recording is up to 29 minutes. It willautomatically stop recording if time is over.640 X 480 High Quality320 X 240 NormalWeb For Internet, see "Internet Mode" on page 43 below.• When Battery temperature over 55ºC or Lens temperature over 45ºC, the camerawill stop movie recording.• When Battery temperature over 60ºC or Lens temperature over 60ºC, the camerawill shutdown automatically.Internet ModeThe Internet Mode allows you to record videos with predefined video settings for easy upload to theInternet website.The Internet supports two file upload standards:• Single File Uploader. The maximum video file size is up to 100 MB.• Internet Uploader. The maximum video file size is up to 1 GB.Most uploaded video length ranges within 5 minutes.Therefore when you record using the YouTube mode, the following standards are followed:• Recorded videos are set to Internet standard resolution of 640 X 480.• Recording automatically stops when the file reaches 100 MB.• To record a YouTube video, select from the Movie Size function.
