DP50747-03 / 04 / 05Panel: Self TestPanel is capable of generating internal patterns without theMain Signal Board attached. (rotating: white / red / green /blue / and various other patterns)This test eliminates Main Signal Board from circuit andconfirms if panel itself is operating properly.1) Unplug these connectors from SMPS & Logic Board.CN8004 (SMPS)CN8003 (SMPS)CN2013 (Logic Bd.)2) Short pins 1-4 together on Logic Bd. at CN2007.(a small screw works good to short all together)3) Shorting pins Gnd & PS_ON at CN8003, (3rd & 4th pinfrom top of connector) will energize the panel, after ACpower has been applied in step #4 below.(IF AC power is applied and panel is working, it will energize withrotating patterns just as soon as pins Gnd & PS_ON are shorted)4) AC power must be applied to panel. Power cord can stillbe attached to AC Filter, or power can be applieddirectly to CN8001 on SMPS.(recommend that AC Filter still be used for ease ofconnection, but can be by passed if needed)5) Please remember to remove short at CN2007, whenfinished.note: no audio is available with panel self test
