To set a passwordSetting Parental Lock13Press MENU and the main menu screen displays.Now a password is required to input.Press 0 – 9 number buttons to input the password(4-digit, the defaultpassword is 0000 and you should change it). Now Lock menu opens.Press 3or4to select Lock menu, press 6 to access the menu.2Parental Lock enables parents to prevent their children from watching inappropriate material on TV. Parental Lock readsthe ratings for programming (except for news, sports, unedited movies on premium cable and Emergency System signals), then denies access to programming if the program's rating meets the limitations you select. In this case, the program willbe blocked.To use the Parental Lock function, you first need to set your password.45Select Change Password item, press 4or ENTER to access.6Enter the new password using 0 – 9 buttons.Enter the same password again to confirm.Now the screen will go back to Lock menu, the new password hasbeen created successfully.! To avoid forgetting the password, write it down and keep it in the safeplace.! If you do forget the password, you may use master password (1397) toaccess the Lock menu and set a new password.
