In this picture you can see a flow rate indicated, thisshows 25l/min NOT 35l/minThe flow switch trips out at 15l/min, if the flow drops below thisE911 shows.Check:The flow rate MUST is over 17l/minThe flow switch is connected to the PCB of the control boxThe flow switch is round the right way, you can turn the head,All valves are open. The pump speed is set at highestThere is no air in the systemThere is water in the systemIf you manually open the hot water 2 way valve check the flow rate again, if you can onlyreach 16l with the heating and hot water open together it’s a sure sign the pump you haveinstalled is too small. If you think the flow switch is faulty, (it very rarely is) remove the paddle from the water byundoing the red nut, you will need to block up the hole temporarily. Now run the pump againswitch your stats down then up again. After 3 mins of pump operation and holding the flowswitch the outdoor unit will start, don’t rush the system it takes timeRattling flow switch / CavitationE911 fault could be caused by a rattling flow switch. This can usually be heard but can alsobe felt by holding the flow switch. To correct it use a screwdriver or pliers on the top of theFlow meter and turn the ball-o-fix valve from 12 o’clock to 1 o’clock; this deflects the waterflow & should further reduce the rattle.Flow meter in standard positioning:Flow meter in 1 o’clock positioning:
