To ensure that your MFP maintain ahigh level of quality and offers a consistent experience for your users, Samsung was certified to have passed throughGoogle’s CTS (Compatibility Test Suite) certification.Securing an open platform requires robust security architecture and rigorous security programs. Android was designedwith multi-layered security that provides the flexibility required for an open platform, while providing protection for allusers of the platform. Android was designed with device users in mind. Users are provided visibility into how applicationswork, and control over those applications. This design includes the expectation that attackers would attempt to performcommon attacks, such as social engineering attacks to convince device users to install malware, and attacks on third-partyapplications on Android. Android was designed to both reduce the probability of these attacks and the impact of theattack in the event it was successful.Furthermore, Samsung has developed the security mechanism and authentication methods to improve the Androidsecurity. Samsung supports the Samsung Application Store to provide various powerful applications to the customer.These all application shall be verified by Samsung Printing Division’s auditor to guarantee the security level of application.Note that only an administrator can install additional application. It means that hacker cannot install any application(malware) using third-party applications to reveal customer’s valuable information.
