This cord is soldseparately.• The plug must be plugged into anappropriate outlet that is properlyinstalled and grounded in accordancewith all local codes and ordinances.• Do not modify the plug provided withyour dryer – if it doesn’t’t fit the outlet,have a proper outlet installed by aqualified electrician.• If a power cord is not used and theelectric dryer is to be permanentlywired, the dryer must be connected toa permanently grounded metal wiringsystem, or an equipment groundingconductor must be run with the circuitconductors and connected to theequipment grounding terminal or leadon the dryer.Electrical connectionsBefore operating or testing, follow allgrounding instructions in the “Grounding”section. The electricservice requirements can be found onthe data label located behind the door.A 30-ampere fuse or circuit breaker onboth sides of the line is required.• If a power cord is used, the cordshould be plugged into a 30-amperereceptacle.• The power cord is not provided withU.S. electric model dryers.
