This cord is soldseparately.• The plug must be plugged into anappropriate outlet that is properlyinstalled and grounded in accordancewith all local codes and ordinances.• Do not modify the plug provided withyour dryer – if it doesn’t’t fit the outlet,have a proper outlet installed by aqualified electrician.• If a power cord is not used and theelectric dryer is to be permanentlywired, the dryer must be connected toa permanently grounded metal wiringsystem, or an equipment groundingconductor must be run with the circuitconductors and connected to theequipment grounding terminal or leadon the dryer.Electrical connectionsBefore operating or testing, follow allgrounding instructions in the “Grounding”section.
